Course aims to show the complete beginner how to properly use Photoshop to make your digital photographs come out looking their best. Also a more advanced syllabus available.

Beginners Syllabus:

RETOUCHING PORTRAITS

Take out Red eye - Change eye colour - Remove skin blemishes - Reduce wrinkles - Whiten teeth - Brighten eyes - Sharpen eyes


IMPROVE COLOURS & TONE

Levels - fine tune exposure

Curves - to contrast picture

Blend Mode - lighten under exposed image

Hue/Saturation - to warm picture

Clone stamp - to remove unwanted elements

Channel Mixer - make image B/W

Dodge & Burn - to light/darken parts of your picture.


IMPROVE COLOURS & TONE

Crop your images to improve them

Crop images to specific size

Create a canvas

Correct perspective

Level horizon


ADDING SPECIAL EFFECTS

Motion Blur filter - to show movement

Photo filter - to enhance images

Create a vignette to focus attention on your subject


PUTTING TEXT IN IMAGES

Create a custom watermark to protect your imagess
