Kate Middleton is Guest at Gemma Billington Art Exhibition Dublin

Kate Middleton arrives at an art exhibition in Dublin's trendy new Hanover Quay district. Ms Middleton - not yet the new Princess Di but on the fast track to global fame according to those in the know - was in town (Dublin)
She was on her first visit to Ireland to support her Berkshire neighbour, artist Gemma Billington, who opened her first solo exhibition at the new Urban Retreat Gallery. The Kerry-born artist is showing pieces she painted during two stays at the Cill Rialaigh Project in Ballinskelligs.
While the paintings on display were captivating, it was Kate Middleton who commanded the attention of all the photographers including myself
Tall and thin, the woman who might be the next queen of England was dressed in a demure, fitted navy suit with shower of hail pattern. She wore very little jewellery, save for a diamond-studded ring.

Artist Gemma Billington is certainly well connected. Three times married, her second husband sponsored last night's opening and brought along his friend from Sunderland FC, Niall Quinn, to do the honours.

Wedding photographer dublin / wicklow area

My wedding photography is informal, based on modern reportage style.
My aim is to capture the whole feeling of your day with my photographs. I can take a variety of shots, some candid/unposed, others can be more formal of the bridal party and family groups.I provide you with a storybook record of your day from the preparation of the bride to the last dance.

I offer various types of wedding packages all of which are flexible, it’s up to you to decide the amount of photographic coverage which you require. Approximately 2 weeks before your wedding we get together to work out your personal ‘action plan’ for the big day, we will visit the church and reception venue and you will discuss potential photographs and assess the backgrounds available for your different pictures. This is a great way for to to get to know each other beforehand - if we are all relaxed and having fun - it really does show in the final photographs.

You can choose your wedding album from the options available and also decide which parts of your day you would prefer to be shot in colour and/or black & white.

Sue Collins - Irish comedian and actress

Sue Collins (Dublin comedian/actress)asked me to photograph her for a publicity shot to advertise the character she plays "Carmel", who is a the boho hairdresser from inner city Dublin. Carmel is part of the Funny Girls show. Sue Collins is probably best known for her part as one of The Nualas, one of Ireland’s most successful comedy troupes.

After The Nualas split, the Funny Girls was formed . The Funny Girls features Anne Gildea, 'a tall leggy brunette who is a quick witted and uninhibited clown'. Pom Boyd, and Susan Collins as Carmel. The very best of Irish Lady Comedy! These girls will pick you up by the funny bone and leave you gagging for more.

Joe Rooney Irish comedian and actor

I photographed Joe Rooney last week for the front cover of his new DVD, due out before christmas. He is one of Irelands top improvisers. Some know Joe Rooney best as Father Damo, the rebel priest who led Father Dougal astray in 'Father Ted'.
However it has been several years since Joe played that role and he has travelled far and wide since then. The Dublin comedian is rightly proud of Father Damo’s lasting success. Although scripted, Joe brought a lot of character to the role, proving his knack for comic timing in front of a television audience of millions.
Joe is currently starring as Timmy Higgins in the hit show Killinaskully, as well and touring around Ireland, with his own stand up show.
