The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, T.D. launched the OECD, at Dublin Castle

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, T.D. today, Monday 28th April, launched the
OECD major Review of the Irish Public Service.  This first ever review of
the whole of the Public Service looks at how it compares with other OECD
countries, and makes recommendations for the future direction of the Public
Service.  This Review will provide the basis for significant transformation
in the Public Service.

The Tánaiste and Minister for Finance, Brian Cowen, T.D. and the Deputy
Secretary General of the OECD, Aart de Geus, also participated in the
launch.
